The Integra AWS Migration Practice (IAMP) is a comprehensive framework and set of guidelines adapted from Amazon Web Services (AWS) migration frameworks to help our customers in migrating their applications and workloads to the AWS cloud infrastructure. The practice encompasses various methodologies, tools, and resources that we leverage to deliver successful migration projects for our customers.
The practice starts with a thorough assessment of the customer’s existing infrastructure, applications, and workloads. We analyze the current environment to identify dependencies, performance requirements, security considerations, and any potential challenges that may arise during migration.
Based on the assessment, we collaborate with you to develop a migration plan and architecture. This involves selecting the appropriate AWS services, defining the migration approach (e.g., rehost, replatform, refactor), establishing the target architecture, and creating a detailed migration roadmap.
We help our customers prepare their applications and infrastructure for migration. This may involve optimizing applications for cloud scalability, resolving any compatibility issues, and establishing governance and security measures.
We assist in migrating your data from the source environment to AWS. This includes selecting the appropriate data transfer methods, ensuring data integrity and security, and validating the completeness and accuracy of the migrated data.
We also help you to migrate their applications to the AWS cloud. Depending on the migration strategy chosen (rehosting, replatforming, or refactoring), we will assist with reconfiguring infrastructure components, adapting applications to leverage AWS services, or redesigning applications for cloud-native architectures.
We conduct thorough testing of the migrated applications and workloads to ensure their functionality, performance, and security in the AWS environment. We collaborate with the you to define and execute testing plans, validate the results, and address any issues that may arise.
We help customers optimize their AWS environment for performance, cost, and operational efficiency. We provide guidance on resource provisioning, scalability, and cost optimization strategies, leveraging AWS services like Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, and cost management tools.
After the migration is complete, we provide ongoing support to operate and manage their applications in the AWS cloud. This includes monitoring, troubleshooting, security management, and assistance with future optimizations or updates.
The AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) part of the AWS Migration Practice, is a comprehensive framework and set of guidelines provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help its partners assist customers in migrating their applications and workloads to the AWS cloud infrastructure. The practice encompasses various methodologies, tools, and resources that partners can leverage to deliver successful migration projects for their customers.
MAP provides a high-level framework to guide organizations through the process of migrating their applications and workloads to the AWS cloud. It consists of three main phases: Assess, Mobilize, and Modernize.
The Assess phase involves evaluating the current state of the organization’s applications, infrastructure, and data to determine the feasibility and readiness for migration.
The Mobilize phase focuses on planning and preparing for the migration. It involves developing a comprehensive migration strategy, establishing a migration plan, and initiating the necessary preparations.
The Modernize phase focuses on optimizing and modernizing the applications and workloads to take advantage of AWS services and capabilities. This phase involves migrating, refactoring, or rearchitecting applications to achieve better performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
“We have built an ecosystem that can easily be scaled and replicated. With the help of Integra Technologies and AWS, we have a system and infrastructure that puts us quite far ahead of our competition.”
“Diglossia was operating a platform that was quite limited in our ability to scale due to the constraints of the local data centers and the varied usage of our testing apllications - heavy during school terms, but hardly any usage during the holidays. The move to AWS and the modernization that were able to do with Integra Technologies as our go-to partner changed our business entirely. The platform is now extremely scalable, reslient and able to cater to multiple customers, with new customer platform onboarding taking just minutes. No only did we see improved business revenues, we saw customer statisfaction of our platform rise dramatically.”
